Join MASJID ZAKARIYA WEEKLY PROGRAMS HADITH HOUR WITH IMAM AHMAD WARDAK Every Monday: After Maghrib Prayer Traditions (Hadith) are records of actions, statements and descriptions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him and his family). As these traditions are a key source of Islamic law, thought, culture, and life – second only to the Qur’an itself – this program aims to derive points of benefit from the Prophetic traditions. This program intends to nurture the student’s faith, deepen their religious understanding, increase them in love of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him and his family) and gain clarity on how to live the essence of his wisdom. The text that will be covered is Al-Adab Al-Mufrad of Imam Bukhari which will be conducted by Imam Ahmad Wardak. Each participant will be given the opportunity to improve their recitation of the Qur’an by individually reciting to the teacher. This class will be conducted by Imam Ahmad Wardak. It will also allow the participants to become skilled in connecting words to their roots to gain a deeper understanding of their meanings. This program will be conducted by Imam Ahmad Wardak. We will be reading excerpts from different books/articles of our choosing. We will also be discussing Islamic rulings and we will have special guest speakers address us from time to time. Considering the recommendations issued by the provincial government, experts' advice, and the rising number of Omicron variant cases, Masjid Zakariya will be suspending the shoulder-to-shoulder prayers and return to social distancing prayer services. May Allah protect our community and allow us to emerge stronger.

Monthly Youth Program Conducted by SHAYKH AHMAD WARDAK After Isha Salaah (7:15pm)on Saturday November 20th Date is subject to change according to the schedules of the youth group) at Masjid Zakariya. We have some great news again boys! We will be having our third monthly youth program after Isha Salaah on Saturday, November 20th. There will be some advice given by a special guest lecturer alongside a formal Q&A session with the guest (so please come prepared with questions beforehand) after Isha Salaah then we will have a delicious dinner together. We will then have dessert while enjoying some Islamic trivia and Islamic board games to increase our Islamic knowledge. We will also have plenty of time to get to know one another and strengthen the brotherhood in our community. All youth are cordially invited to attend and have an amazing time.
