MASJID ZAKARIYA WEEKLY PROGRAMS TIME CHANGE (8:15 - 8:45 PM) HADITH HOUR WITH IMAM AHMAD Traditions (Hadith) are records of actions, statements and descriptions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him and his family). As these traditions are a key source of Islamic law, thought, culture, and life – second only to the Qur’an itself – this program aims to derive points of benefit from the Prophetic traditions. This program intends to nurture the student’s faith, deepen their religious understanding, increase them in love of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him and his family) and gain clarity on how to live the essence of his wisdom. The text that will be covered is Al-Adab Al-Mufrad of Imam Bukhari which will be conducted by Imam Ahmad Wardak. Each participant will be given the opportunity to improve their recitation of the Qur’an by individually reciting to the teacher. This class will be conducted by Imam Ahmad Wardak. It is designed to help appreciate the language and message of the Qur’an. It will also allow the participants to become skilled in connecting words to their roots to gain a deeper understanding of their meanings. This program will be conducted by Imam Ahmad Wardak.
